Analysis of  Watford Vs Manchester United Betting Tips

Premier League activities resume this weekend, on return from the international break, as Manchester United visit the Vicarage Road to face Watford. After recording the worst start to the season since 1992, with the loss to Brighton and Tottenham, the Devils seem to have got their season back on track, as they put up a commanding performance against Burnley.

Reds’ striker, Romelu Lukaku picked up a brace, with Reds’ boss Jose Mourinho ruing the fact that his charges did not get more goals on to the scoresheet. The Portuguese manager could be right, with the possibility that if the top 4 places got down to goal difference, in the light of the Devils’ goal-scoring record, they would be out of contention.

However, he would be glad, as his charges put on commanding performances for their national side during the international break, with Lukaku scoring a brace in the win against Iceland, and Marcus Rashford opening the scoring, with the goal against Spain.

However, the English striker would be unavailable during the weekend, as he begins his three-match ban, having picked up a red card, for a confrontation against Burnley defender, Phil Bardsley. Mourinho would feel the Devils have enough arsenal to record a win against their opponents.

England full-back Ashley Young could be called back into the lineup, as his compatriot, fullback, Luke Shaw picked up a concussion during the UEFA Nations League competition against Spain.

Watford has made a bright start to the season with the win against Tottenham capping the Hornets’ performance. The Hornets have made a perfect start to the season, joining the select group of Liverpool and Chelsea. With all points from all matches, the hosts lie 3rd in the league table, separated from leaders, Liverpool, only on goal difference.

The game against Tottenham showed an impressive and resilient side, given that the hosts went down to an own goal in the 53rd minute. A strong comeback in the 69th minute and securing the win in the 76th minute meant the Hornets grabbed all three points, leaving the visitors, the Lilywhites wondering at what point the game went wrong.

With an inspired performance like this, the Hornets would be looking to wring a win out of the Red Devils.
