Analysis of  Manchester City Vs Fulham Betting Tips

Manchester City would be looking to get their season back underway after the international break when they welcome Fulham to the Etihad Stadium. The league leaders have recorded a positive start, with the only blight in their campaign coming from the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

A win against Arsenal in the first game of the season followed through with a strong and entertaining 6 – 1 win over Huddersfield. However, the league champions were made to put their title defence on hold, as they picked up a draw in the game against Wolves.

A win against Newcastle, just before the international break, and the Citizens would feel all is well again, as they keep the gap close between them and season pacesetters, Liverpool, Chelsea and Watford.

The UEFA League games, coming up during the international break, saw some of the Blues put up appearances to get their teams over to the winning side. Portuguese international, Bernardo Silva put in an inspired performance during his side win over Italy. French full-back, Benjamin Mendy picked up an assist to inspire Les Bleus to a 2 -1 triumph over the Netherlands.

English fullback, Kyle Walker scored a screamer during the weekend – his first goal for the club, picking up the win over Newcastle, and City boss, Pep Guardiola would be gladdened with the knowledge that the Citizens possess the resources to create something from different areas.

Fulham, in the meantime, would be miffed having given away two goals, to come up with a draw against Brighton. The visitors opened the scoreline with a goal from German international, Andre Schurrle. On the 62nd minute, the Cottagers were two up as Serbian International, Aleksandar Mitrovic, put in a rebound, having forced Brighton’s goalkeeper, Matthew Ryan, to make a save.

However, the Cottagers put up a poor defence with a brace from English forward, Glenn Murray getting the Seagulls back level.

Against a full-blown, attacking Man City side, the Cottagers would be hoping that the defence put up a stronger resistance while looking to slot in the goals behind the City backline.
