Analysis of  Fulham vs Crystal Palace Tips

Fulham begins their journey back into the Premier League with the match against Crystal Palace. Having been subject to an inspiring playoff match against Aston Villa, playing with 10 men and winning the game by a lone goal, The Lilywhites would be excited to ensure their promotion for another season. The hosts experienced relegation in the 2013/14 season, and have had a difficult spell in the Football League, coming 17th and 20th in the following years, before rising to 6th in the 2016/17 season. Noticeably, the strings to the club’s purse were loosened, and the chequebook opened, and the club’s management has aspired to make strong buys in the market this season.

Players added to the club books include Fabri from Besiktas, Alfie Mawson from Swansea, Sergio Rico from Sevilla, Calum Chambers from Arsenal and Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Manchester United – the last three players on loan from their parent clubs. However, the most high-profile signing for the club would be Andre Schurrle from Borussia Dortmund on loan, in addition to the breaking of the club record to sign midfielder enforcer Jean Michael Seri and Maxime Le Marchand – both players from French football club, Nice.

The Eagles, however, might have had a relatively quiet transfer window, bringing in goalkeeper Vicente Guaita free from Getafe, midfielder Cheikh Kouyate from West Ham, Max Meyer as well as Ghanian striker Jordan Ayew, on loan from Swansea.

However, the one achievement in which they would most be delighted by would be keeping their best player in the last 3 seasons, Wilfried Zaha, who was rumoured to have been subject to a 75 million euros bid from Chelsea.

The Palace project is on as Palace manager Roy Hodgson puts together a team to keep them in the top half of the table. However, the prediction here is that the Lilywhites should be able to match them head to head.
