Analysis of Arsenal Vs Watford Betting Tips
Arsenal has won four games from four in the Premiership and their resurgence would unlikely be stopped when they welcome Watford to the Emirates stadium. The Gunners recorded an inspiring draw against Everton during the weekend with French striker, Alexandre Lacazette and Gabon International, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang getting on the score sheet, the Gabonese fortunate to still be on the matchday squad list having wasted numerous chances in previous games.
The Gunners followed up on the weekend performance with a 3 – 1 win over Championship side, Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup competition played during the week. Estranged English striker, Danny Welbeck, putting in a good run capped an impressive performance with two goals in the first half and would be hoping for a call-up to the starting lineup.
New signing, Bernd Leno, having been made to sit out the first few games of the Gunners campaign was called up for the match against The Bees. The German International was almost liable to an own goal, however, Gunners’ manager Unai Emery expects that the shot-stopper would be between the sticks this weekend.
So with six wins in six games in all competitions, the Gunners would be looking forward to another positive outcome come the weekend.
However, they could be due for a reality check when they face the Hornets.
Watford got back on track with an impressive season in the game against Fulham, having lost to Manchester United the previous weekend. The Hornets have had an admirable start to the season, going on a 100% winning record, prior to their defeat against the Red Devils. However, with the loss forgotten, the Hornets bounced back quickly against Fulham, a goal against the Cottagers coming up in the 2nd minute with a strike from English forward, Andre Gray.
The Hornets were however made to share the points when Serbian forward, Aleksandar Mitrovic got the hosts back in the 78th minute.
In the mid-week Carabao competition, the Hornets were knocked out of the competition by Tottenham, going on to penalties with striker Etienne Capoue and Domingo Quina missing their penalties, handing the win to the Lilywhites.
However, the Hornets occupy 4th on the league table, with 4 wins in 6 matches, and would be excited at the prospect of a surprise upset to the Emirates stadium as well as the possibility of usurping one of the positions of the regular top six clubs.
